Y’all, how excited I am to be sharing this really exciting (& scary!) news with you! And on a day of a website refresh! Did you notice the new look? 🙂 There’s a bit I’d like to do over a little more but done is better than perfect. Something I’m trying to teach myself with my business.

So that’s not the exciting news I’m so thrilled to share – in just three months, I’ll be going full time wedding photographer! (CUE THE CONFETTI!) 🎉 It certainly still hasn’t hit me yet – I’m sure it’ll kick in the first few weeks of not going back to work but how surreal that feels to finally see something I’ve craved for this business since day one come to life!

What a scary adventure ahead into the unknown! But how exciting too! And I have a great support system at home and around me to help me succeed and that is so, so important! Watching fellow creatives around me leave their 9-5 jobs to go full time was always so inspiring. And the thoughts of being home with my sweet baby every day was the kick in the butt I needed to make this work! It will be a lot of trial and error this season but I’m ready for it!

If you poked around the website, you may have seen my title go from wedding & portrait photographer to wedding & maternity photographer! I am in the beginning seasons of marriage and motherhood and find such beauty in the two that my heart just gravitates to wanting to photograph these two seasons of life.

So what that simply means for Sweet Magnolia is – I will only be accepting family sessions until September 2018! I will then offer mini sessions for families, seniors and other portraits a few times a year but only on select dates as I continue to focus on weddings & maternity! And don’t worry if you have a family session booked for after September, I am still SO excited to photograph your session! You are still locked into your day friend! 🙂

I am so beyond grateful for all my clients who have supported me and cheered for me along the way! You have all helped me reach this dream of mine that I never thought could be possible! 💗
