When you are a new photographer & you book your very first wedding, that sweet couple holds a very special place in your heart forever. That here was the case for Becca & Ryan! I was photographing for a company for some time when I decided to venture out on my own, making my own “rules” & poses and having my creativity run free. I had a different business name back then and I didn’t even know that being a photographer could be your job! 😉 So I offered to photograph weddings and my first inquiry came in – I’ll never forget that feeling! And to boot, it felt like a destination wedding heading to the “islands” here in Ohio!

Fast forward four years later, here I am again with these two! Photographing next to the lake with an extra person along for the ride! 🙂 Becca, Ryan and I met at a local beach in Avon Lake and we had limited time with a storm rolling in. This was our second attempt at shooting because we had to reschedule from rain the week before, so needless to say, with time running out before little Carson was to make his debut, we were going to do this, rain or shine! And lucky for us, we just had some thunder. 🙂

Becca & Ryan – thank you for being my very first Magnolia couple. You two will always hold a soft place in my heart. Carson is a very lucky little boy to have the two of you as his parents!
