Besides the fact that we share the same first name (the best name of course!), I was really excited for Brittany’s family session she had planned for her little family of three and also to include her parents and grandmother!

Brittany’s parents were in town for Lily’s 1st birthday (which also happened to fall on the day of their session!)! And boy did we luck out with a beautiful day! Especially since it called for rain and thunderstorms that we feared may ruin our beach session plans!

We chose Huntington Beach in Bay as Brittany and her husband, Grant, live just right down the road from this little lakeside escape! Oh how I envy them for this! Bay has become one of my favorite little towns!

But my heart burst so much photographing Lily with her great-grandmother. I was very close with my own great-grandma (Memaw) and treasure every photo I have with her and love when they out of the blue show up to brighten my day! How I miss her so.
