I love when I get the chance to photograph families every year and see them from the time they get engaged, become married, give birth to their first child and have their first family portraits. I got to experience this with the Browning family. You can see their sweet little guy Camden & his 2 years old portraits a few posts back! I started photographing that family when Courtney became pregnant with Camden!

So when Courtney’s sister. Colleen reached out to me – I was so excited to become even more familiar with this very sweet family! If she was anything like her sister, I knew I was going to love her too! And I certainly did!

The Costigan family met with me out at Spencer Lake in Spencer Township. They chose this location because Colleen and her husband, Jansen got engaged right there! Right there I knew this family was made for me to photograph! And little guy Jace – was just the cutest little thing!

We walked along the path, set out onto a pier and walked our way through a grassy area to some really beautiful spots. There wasn’t a spot you could turn that they picture wouldn’t turn out fantastic! And this darling family were such troopers because we were hitting a high of 90 degrees, at the end of September, in Ohio! I most certainly will be back here again to photograph – just maybe when it has cooled down a bit! 😉
