This past weekend I had a pleasure getting to spend some time with one of my June couples in the sweet town of Vermilion. Vermilion is a very quintessential town around here. Rick mentioned it reminded him of Mayberry and I couldn’t agree more. It’s a vacation home away from home.

We met in Vermilion as they were in town visiting Rick’s brother and making and finalizing plans for their Vermilion wedding this June. They got engaged here in this sweet town at the church they will soon wed at.

It was extremely chilly during our time together but we couldn’t have been more grateful for the nice warm sun that came out for the day. We talked, swapped stories & got a coffee together at a little joint called Huggy’s.

I had so much fun with Dawn & Rick and hearing the story of how they met and how it was certainly meant to be. (I’ll be sure to share more on their wedding day!!) Our time together went by so quickly we were having such fun and I’m sad it will be so long until the next time we get together, but their big day will be here before we know it!! 🙂
