I can’t believe this. This session from the end of last month was my FIRST session all year at the beach! That’s so crazy to me when that’s always a popular spot for all my clients! I still just can’t get over that!

I met with the Hubbard family at Huntington Beach on a very, very busy Sunday. A concert was going on across the way and there was a lot beach side hangs going on. So finding some secret areas was on our list to ensure no stragglers were hopping in some family portraits. 😉

I had met Nikki a few months prior to photograph a kitchen she has remodeled for her interior design business. Her darling little family is only going to be here in Ohio for a little while longer before they head back home to Houston, Texas. She mentioned to me before that her previous design business also had the name Magnolia in it, so she naturally gravitated towards my business and I’m glad she did!

Nikki, her husband Matt & two littles, Abram & Julep (<-y’all, her name, I just can’t get over how darling it is! Be still my heart!) were so fun to photograph in this season of life. Sometimes, when the kiddos are this young, you just have to roll with the punches and we sure did get some laughs!

Hubbard family, thank you so much for letting me capture your family for your time here in Bay. I wish you all safe travels and if I ever come back down to Magnolia again, we must meet for a family update!
