Jackie & David didn’t have to travel far for their engagement session – we just took a few steps right into their backyard and had beautiful backdrops! Including a big ole red barn and y’all! I died and went to heaven!!

On my way to their session, the biggest rain cloud started to come out and little rain drops were coming down. All I hoped was for the rain drops to be small so we could still get some portraits in! As luck would have it, the skies cleared immediately me pulling into their driveway! And we had a fantastic evening for their portraits!

David took us over the creek in his truck (I’m almost certain this was his favorite part of the session! 😉 ) and we got some portraits all around their beautiful yard! I’m thinking these two need to go back home fore their bridal portraits! It’s the perfect spot!

After we grabbed all the best spots in their yard (and even got a little sun!) we headed out to a few parks in the Norwalk area! I love little towns so much. They remind me of Hallmark movies and I’m a sucker for a great Hallmark movie! Ok – back to my sweet couple! 😉

David works for the parks so he was able to show us all around the best spots which was AWESOME! And y’all, the amount of new favorite portraits I have from this session is insane. It coul be the amazing locations or the sweetest couple ever. Or maybe a mix of the two. 🙂 Enjoy friends!
