This past weekend I got the chance to meet with Kai + Jeremy, one of my 2020 couples! They are getting married in September this year and I am looking so forward to their big day! They were such a sweet couple and I truly enjoyed their company when taking their portraits! Sometimes I feel like it is hard for me to a session because I could just keep chatting with my couples for waaay longer!!

Not only did I get to meet Kai & Jeremy, but I got to meet their sweet daughter Mia too! Mia had a teddy bear with her and Kai proceeded to tell me about their baby, Kylie, they lost in January. This teddy bear is a weighted teddy bear, which was 5 lbs, the weight of their precious baby. So it was so extremely important to have her apart of their engagement session too!

We began their engagement session at one of my favorite locations in Cleveland, the cultural gardens! It was so dreamy with the sun glowing through the trees and it was a hopping spot, there was session after session taking place! It was just such a beautiful evening!

We then went over to the Cleveland Art Museum which is always such a beautiful backdrop for portraits too! I have many engagement sessions here this summer and I am not complaining one bit!!

At the end of their session, Kai & Jeremy did have some exciting news they wanted to share before I seen them again on their wedding day – they are expecting! My heart was so overjoyed for them so I had to grab just a few pregnancy announcement portraits for Kai! I can’t wait to see them again in September!
