Friends! This blog is featuring a sweet little cousin of mine today! Meet the newest baby of the family, Lyla! We love her so much and I’m so excited for Liam to have another cousin so close in age! Lyla’s mama, Laura has two other sweet kiddos, Natalie & Dj, who I can’t wait to do some portraits of all 3 of them this summer! Can you just imagine the cuteness that will be?! Liam LOVES when Natalie & Dj come over (& so does mama! Hello built in babysitters! 😉)

Just a week after sweet Lyla was born, her daddy was in a very serious car accident that has left him with a very long recovery road. Lyla most certainly has been a shining light during this difficult time for their family as her daddy, Desmond, heals, recovers and their family learns & adjusts to the new normal.

During her session, Lyla was a smiley little thing! It was as if she knew she was getting her pictures taken! And the little coo-ing in between, ah melts my heart! My heart certainly has a soft spot for newborn portraits because -> mama status over here! So these times go by quickly and you can never get too many images of your little!
