Nicole & Christian’s wedding story is unique & special in many ways. This past Halloween, Nicole & Christian recited their vows in an extremely intimate ceremony with immediate family & close friends. While it wasn’t the original plan, having her daddy right alongside her as she started this new chapter with Christian, was what was most important. This new chapter has been filled with grief & joy for the two of them but my heart was filled with so much joy to be able to document one special day of a celebration of their love and being Mr. & Mrs. Franco!

Christian & Nicole celebrated with everyone they loved at the Columbia Ballroom. I was so excited to photograph at this venue as it is just a beautiful venue but too, my grandparents got married here years & years ago! It is a gorgeous barn with rustic charm inside and around the property! And although we are in the winter season, the snow was all melted and we were nearing 40 temperatures! So we got a little bit of greenery in their bridal portraits! 😉

The day started at a near by hotel were Nicole got ready with a few of her bridesmaids and her mama! She wanted a few portraits before the festivities began in her original wedding gown with Christian and their son, Caden! Then she returned to the hotel to do a quick change into another wedding gown that she was going to surprise Christian with! I loved both of Nicole’s wedding gowns, I don’t think I could have picked a favorite!

Her daddy’s presence was known throughout the whole day. From the gray jackets her bridesmaids wore to promote brain cancer awareness, the pictures of him throughout the venue and her charms she held close to her on her bouquet, you knew he was there cheering these two along in celebration. It was an emotional & beautiful occasion and I am so, so happy I was there to celebrate these two! They have all welcomed me into the biggest moments of their lives and I am so thankful.
