It was a hot, hot day for Taylor & Brandon’s wedding day but everyone in their bridal party was SO awesome and never complained once, just was so excited to be celebrating the two newlyweds – it was amazing! These two had the best group to hype them up while celebrating their first day of marriage!!

Taylor & Brandon held their ceremony at Fairchild Chapel in Oberlin which is such a beautiful old, stone building! I’ve attended a few weddings in here and you truly don’t need a single decoration in there because the chapel is so beautiful on its own!! But I was so ecstatic to get the chance to not be a guest in this chapel but to be the photographer!! 🙂

Despite the heat, we were able to find so many great cool spots in the shade around Oberlin College and another favorite, the nearby Gardens!! I love the challenge of finding new spots in the gardens for bridal portraits and hitting my all time favorite spots too!! (Can you pick out my favorite tried and true spots? :)) I loved Taylor & Brandon’s bridal portraits so much. They were so timeless & classic and gosh, I just was in love with them and Taylor’s dress!!

These two were the kindest people and everything a wedding photographer could ask for in a couple! And I definitely seen where they got it from – their parents were so welcoming, sweet and a hoot to talk to!! And I am not the only one who felt the love these two give to everyone around them – they had scheduled time into their timeline to open the floor for speeches during the toasts and they had to limit the amount of those who could come up to say kind words and share words of wisdom because guest after guest wanted to share a story about how they loved these two! And the last speech for the night was from the bride’s father with a “LET’S PARTY!”!!

And they did!! If I could give awards to couples for the best entrance – hands down, award would go to these two and Brandon’s son, Bradyn! It was such a good energy during the reception but my favorite part of the night was when they had a dance for all the mothers & daughters! If you’ve been around here for a while, you know my mama has been my assistant on wedding days since the beginning! We are the best of friends so I was totally all for this special dance! I love my mama!! 🙂 But the best surprise was during the mother-daughter dance to “Mama” by Carrie Underwood, was Taylor’s sister singing it to them. It was hard for me to reign it in and remind myself I had to pull it together to take some portraits!! 😉

Taylor and Brandon, what a treasure it was to be apart of your wedding day!! I loved spending every minute with you two!! Congrats & cheers!!
