Celebrating mama’s is something I like to do, so every year when Mother’s Day gets near, I love hosting a Mama + Me Mini marathon! I think it’s so important we capture ourselves with our little ones. I love looking back at pictures of my own mama and me and I can only imagine that Liam will hopefully like to do the same as he gets older! (Currently, every time he sees a picture of me and Nick, he immediately replies with an “Aww!” and it totally melts our heart!)

I had the chance to photograph Brittany’s family last summer when her grandmother was in town for Lily’s first birthday! I loved getting to meet her family and get to know them! Now Brittany is pregnant with another little girl and I was so thrilled to be able to capture some precious memories of her with Lily! (And I sure do hope they come back next year so I can see baby girl no. 2!) 🙂 After rescheduling due to rain, I am so glad that we were able to get these portraits in since Brittany is nearing her due date in May! But I think we lucked out, especially with the tulips in full bloom for their session!

While I don’t photograph families anymore, I don’t think I will be stopping the mama + me minis anytime soon! They just hold too sweet of a spot in my heart! <3 Enjoy a few favorites from Brittany and Lily’s mama and me!
