When Emma first initially inquired with me on photographing her wedding day, she stated that they really just wanted to have a party with their friends and family to celebrate! She was certainly not kidding! Emma + Lance’s wedding day was one big celebration with friends & family who adored them! As you will see from their bridal portraits down below, they don’t have a shortage of friends!! They are loved by so many and you could feel that and see that by their excitement for these two and the words their friends spoke in speeches to the bride and groom!

I have a few favorite moments from Emma + Lance’s big day, first and foremost being their vows to one another! My couples have been doing this a lot lately and I just adore it! Another favorite part of the day was gathering Emma’s sorority sisters for a group photo! I thought it would be 10 or so gals in the portrait, but when almost the entire half of the wedding guests got up for a picture, I just about died! (In a good way!!) How sweet it was for them to all be there for Emma and love on her! And to wrap up my favorites, their food truck! Oh my, it was so fun and unique! I have not got to experience a food truck at a wedding just yet but it was so neat to see Swenson’s there delivering food to their guests!!

Emma + Lance had such a beautiful day with the sunshine and weather! It has been so long since we have seen the sun around here it seems so I was beyond giddy to make sure we got some sunset portraits in during their reception! (Future brides, make sure you take 5 minutes out of your reception to do this! You won’t regret it!!) It was such a great day and I was beyond grateful to be there and witness the love these two have for one another!!
