This past weekend, I had the wonderful chance to catch up with the Strittmather’s at their home in Vermilion to capture the last few months of Dannin’s pregnancy! This session I think was extra special because I just recently photographed Dannin & Cody this November during my Christmas Minis. At the end of their session, Dannin secretly mentioned to me that she was pregnant and that they were telling their families at Thanksgiving! Y’all – her mama was with us at the session and I had to totally play cool like I didn’t just find out some MAJOR news!

Fast forward to the next month, Dannin & Cody, with 20 of their closest relatives, went to the ski slopes in Michigan and got married! They had been planning this family vacation for quite some time and knew they wanted to get married with a very intimate ceremony & reception. They showed me portraits of their wedding day and it just looked so magical! Dannin’s wedding dress was just so stunning. The lace detail & flowy sleeves were everything! I was in awe over her dress!

So when I showed up this past weekend to take their maternity portraits of the last few weeks they have together as just the two of them, I mentioned to Dannin how lovely her gown was and if she had it near by and not put away just yet. Y’all, the sweet girl put her wedding dress back on for me to take portraits of her in them! She was such a vision and it just made her sweet baby bump even sweeter!

I’m in love with these portraits & I know that you are all going to be too! After having below zero temps last week, it was so nice that we got to go outside, in the sunshine & 40 degree temps! Enjoy a few of my favorites!
