Oh my gosh – it is FINALLY happening! Welcome to my new website launch! And re brand! And name change! Ha! It is a big deal over here today and I am so thrilled to be able to finally share it with you all!

So let’s start with the name change!
It has been on my heart for some time to change my name from Sweet Magnolia Photo & Design to something that felt more personable and me. I loved my business name, I really did. And I know so many of you did too! It caught the eye to so many of my clients and that was how they found me! My named served me so well in the beginning seasons of my business. It was really the entire brand of my business. It definitely inspired my magnolia motherhood minis that I would host! But as time went on, I felt so stuck behind a name. I felt like my pictures were stuck behind a name. Like I was hiding behind my business name! My business was growing & maturing from what it started as and I just felt like it was time for me to start a new chapter. So here we are with Brittany Serowski Photography!
I know it isn’t as cute as my previous name 😉 but this new name I know is just going to fit right in like it should have always been. I put so much love into my work that I selfishly wanted my name to be right alongside that! And with my name changing, I can share so much more of me with you all & it just makes sense!

And speaking of sharing more of me with you guys, that’s what inspired the rebrand!
I want to share all my favorite areas of life; being a wife, motherhood, my home & all of my favorite topics, with you guys and doing a rebrand for Brittany Serowski Photography was what was needed! From the color palette to the fonts, everything is just so me! I can’t wait to be able to connect with my clients & friends on IG on a more deeper & personal level.
With the rebrand came a brand new website AND new services!
Let me just say that I don’t think I have ever loved one of my websites more! I purchased my website template from Elizabeth McCravy and you guys – it has been the greatest experience EVER. I ended up picking a different website template than what I originally planned on and customized it completely for my brand. The SEO strategy Elizabeth puts into her templates in phenomenal and took out so much headache and work for myself. Truly, you could have a brand new website completed within days!
And did you check out my newest services? AH! If you haven’t already, be sure to go see my latest portrait offering and my new Virtual Assistant services!
For quite a few years now, I would just LOVE when I would get an inquiry for a branding shoot. (However, it wasn’t ever really called a branding shoot, it would just be a “Can you photograph some pictures for my business?”) Branding photography isn’t a totally new concept but back when I was first doing them, they truly didn’t have a name that was as popular as it is now! I just adored getting to listen to other business owners light up as they talked about their business. It was amazing to get to see a behind the scenes look into their business and I just really loved that.
I won’t lie, I was a bit nervous adding this service to my portraits. Brand photography in the past year or so has become popular. Did it seem that I was just jumping on the bandwagon? Let me tell ya, imposter syndrome was real. But I had to shove that down and just take the leap to do it. I remember feeling that way about becoming a wedding photographer and I couldn’t imagine what life would look like right now if I never stepped out of that comfort zone and announced to the world I was photographing weddings! So here I am y’all – Hi I’m Britt, legacy AND branding photographer! 🙂

And now a VA?!
So this kind of just happened spontaneously! I was chatting with my good friend, who is also a photographer, about how I sat down and really created every kind of client workflow, process, template, scheduling and so on because I absolutely needed to if I wanted to have my time back with my boys. It was after we were done talking that it just clicked that I would LOVE to be able to help other photographers who needed these workflows too! I just knew I couldn’t be the only photographer out there!
I have been in the thick of learning all about being a virtual assistant and how I can be a service to others! I can not believe how much I would love this type of work! It really has surprised me. And I really can not wait to see the way it will help impact other photographers too! I’m giddy thinking about it!
So you guys, that is pretty much what all is new around here! I can’t wait for you all to come with me on this journey as I navigate all this ‘newness’. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun and I hope you stick around.
Warmly, Britt
And thank you so much to Kailey Marie Photography for these updated headshots!
