The first time I met with Ashley + Josh for a wedding meeting, I hoped so, so much they would want me to capture their wedding day! They were so kind, excited to get married and easy to chat with – they were my perfect ideal couple!! And then after their engagement session when I got to know them even more, I could not wait for their big day!!

Ashley + Josh met in college while they both were studying to be teachers and Ashley is a second grade teacher at my alma mater! (Crossing all my fingers that Liam can have her as his teacher!) And her profession showed through in her attention to detail and her readiness for all to come on the wedding day! (I loved that!!)

They married in their Church that they attend and love to be apart of. Their priest knew them both pretty well and made their ceremony very personable which was so great! And I have to say, he had quite a few good jokes to throw in there too that I remembered to keep in my back pocket! 😉 LOL!

What was really special to me however, was they held their reception where Nick and I got married!! I’ve been back here quite a few times to photograph receptions and it’s always so sweet to come back to where it all started for us too!

But I knew they were 100% my ideal couple when I seen they had an ice cream bar and a dessert table just about a mile long! 😉 (Sweets are my love language if you are new around here!!) P.S. – if you can’t find me at your wedding, check the desserts table! LOL!
