I got the chance to photograph my lovely friend, just weeks before she was due to meet her little girl. I feel so lucky to have been able to photograph each of M’s pregnancies, now three to be exact! But this one just felt a little more special. Not only was she throwing a little girl into her mix at home with all little boys, but this was also her last baby and that always is so bittersweet.

I was just in the early weeks of my pregnancy while M was in her final weeks, but it was really great to be able to have at least one pregnancy at the same time with your pal. We have been friends for a very long time, 12 years! It has been a great joy and honor watching her as she became a wife and a mama. I still can’t believe she is a mom to three now but know her babies have a great mama to raise them.
