I am so thrilled to be getting the chance to share my dear friend’s baby girl on the blog. Sweet C was so sweet and perfect during her cozy & neutral nursery newborn session. She is actually a month old here in these portraits and just proof that while we love a couple day old newborn, you can still get all newborn sweetness when your little one has been here a little longer!

C’s mama, mama to 3 now, is a professional thrifter and has wonderful interior decorating taste, if I do say so myself! 😉 We loved getting to do C’s newborn portraits in her nursery that was so bright, airy and all girly.

A Bright, In Home Winter Newborn Session

I had the pleasure of being welcomed into K & J’s home to meet their baby boy! Not too long ago, I got to photograph their maternity session on a very sunny, chilly winter day! Their newborn session seemed to take note as it was a beautiful sunny day with some flurries outside to make their in home newborn session so cozy!

K & J are in the process of renovating their home and baby boy had the most darling room! I loved how fresh, neutral and cozy his room was. But I loved that his crib was his mama’s when she was a baby! (Heirloom pieces that have tons of meaning make my heart pitter patter!) 🙂

This little guy was just so precious! He melted perfectly right into his mom and dad every time they held him and these two were such naturals when it came to parenting! I could see how their life just feels so complete now that babe is here! Just take a look to see how sweet they all are!

S & J were one of my past wedding couples who wed back in 2020! I was SO thrilled for them when I heard they were growing their family! S & J were just one of the kindest couples that I have had the pleasure of photographing and their families were so wonderful too!

We chose to photograph their sweet baby M’s newborn session at their home! Mom has such a knack for decorating and the house was just a beautiful spot for their portraits! Their home has so much character & light in every corner of the house, I had a hard time choosing one spot to stay in! I wanted to photograph it all everywhere! (I think that is a great problem to have!) 🙂

Baby M was getting ready to turn 3 months old before we were able to photograph his newborn session and S & J invited Mom’s parents along for some portraits too and I really, really loved that! It was just such a happy time and I loved getting to see these two start this wonderful chapter in their lives!

Immediately upon M opening the door in her flowy, cream colored dress, I just knew this newborn session was going to be so dreamy and a new favorite! Baby H’s nursery was a perfect setting for their session with the morning light just flooding through the oversized windows.

But aside from the gorgeous neutral backdrops that F & M’s home provided, I was just in awe with how much they loved being parents. They just gushed over him at every chance they could and I think you can just see that in their portraits. Little H, you are one loved little boy!
