A micro end of summer, emerald & gold outdoor wedding at Henry’s Barn in Oberlin, OH.

Chelsea & Jared held an intimate, micro wedding at the new Henry’s Barn in Oberlin and let me tell you, if you could choose a color palette – a way to showcase the end of summer and beginning of fall, into a wedding, these two captured that in the most idellyic way! The rich colors of emerald, orange and gold were a dream to photograph!

Chelsea & her girls got ready together in her & Jared’s home.  Jared’s daughter, Daphne, whom Chelsea fell in love with quickly, adoringly watched as Chelsea got into her dress. She was so persistent that she wanted to take a picture with Chelsea, you could see she loved her just as much too.

Jared and Chelsea met at their ceremony where not a dry eye was found from all of their family & friends who joined them as sweet Daphne, through joyful tears watched these two become one. Chelsea & Jared’s ceremony was not just about the two becoming one, but the three of them becoming a family!

After portraits at the nearby town square, the small gathering of their family & friends went to Henry’s Barn where together they shared a filling dinner and just enjoyed one another’s company. Jared & Chelsea’s closest family and friends watched as these two shared their first dance as husband and wife. 

I have really loved the micro weddings I have been able to be apart of so far. Seeing my couples with their closest family & friends, really getting to savor the day, I don’t want to see this trend end. I hope it can stick around for a long while!

Chelsea & Jared, you two were a dream to photograph! I wish you three so many years of laughter & love ahead!
