A bright, romantic & intimate downtown Cleveland wedding at The Madison.

Taylor & Anthony hosted an intimate, micro wedding with 40 of their closest family & friends at The Madison with the help of the team at A Charming Fete! The style of their day was a secret garden, with whites, greens and sprinkle of pinks here & there. The foundry room in The Madison was a the perfect blank canvas for creating the scene. I love how white, bright & spacious The Madison is for weddings, a photographers dream I tell ya!

It was blue skies & sunshine and a bit tad on the *really* warm side for a May day! (I couldn’t believe how lucky my spring couples were this year with these amazing temps!) Quickly after getting ready in the beautiful getting ready spaces their venue has, Taylor met Anthony downstairs for a joyous, tearful first look! It has been the sweetest first look I’ve witnessed! 

A sweet & an emotion filled ceremony was had, followed with cocktail hour on the outdoor patio. As the guests rejoined back inside for their reception, the dance floor was exuberant from start to end. Taylor & Anthony were soon moving to Florida after they got married to start their new lives together and be closer to Taylor’s grandmother. I know their family & friends were just thrilled to be there with them before they began the next chapter in their lives!

I mentioned to Taylor & Anthony early in the day that the song they chose for the very last dance of the night was a good one because it was actually my son, Liam’s favorite song! 😉 (Shotgun by George Ezra!) At the end of the night, before leaving these two, they said they would think of Liam when the song came on and all I could think was, this is exactly how I would describe Taylor & Anthony, thoughtful and kind. So thoughtful to remember that and to mention my little one on a day that is all about them!
