I recently met Elizabeth, from Elizabeth Sands Photography, when I reached out to her about photographing some portraits of my boy and I! (A tradition I hope to continue for as long as possible!) It is so awesome getting to meet other fellow creatives and gaining new friendships with those also in the creative industry. And I am so excited that Elizabeth lives so near!!

We chatted about the joys & struggles of owning our photography businesses and y’all – this is SO needed when you own your own business! Having someone else say “Me too!” can sometimes be the sweetest words to hear! I loved that we just had so much in common! But even before we talked business, I just knew from our chats from location to location, me and Elizabeth would get along so well! (And the fact that she was awesome with L and is having a little guy herself – just loved her!!)

Aside from being a fantastic family photographer, Elizabeth is a newlywed and is going to be a boy mama here really soon! So when we decided she would grab some portraits for me and I would of her in this special season, I was ecstatic because I have missed photographing some baby bumps!! 🙂

We met at a little boat dock area on Lake Erie and were blessed with a gorgeous sunset for our backdrop, despite us both sweating to death at the end! 😉 Y’all she was the sweetest and I can not wait to meet up with her again soon! And I also can not wait to see all of mine and L’s pictures and to share them!!
